Retreat to Running Springs

Have you ever wanted to see a bear scratch its back against a tree? You could see that at the 7th and 8th grade retreat August 29th.

This year’s retreat is in a new spot. It is at the Pali Institute in Running Springs, located at a point of 6,400 feet.

The retreat will have many things to look forward to. 7th grader Cody Y. said, “I am looking forward to becoming closer to God.” Another 7th grader, Ava V.G. said, “I am looking forward to the ropes course.”

The camp has a large variety of activities, including 5 ropes courses, archery, and a recreational field.

Since the 7th and 8th graders are going to be gone for two days, they will need some things. They should bring enough clothes for two days. They shouldn't forget insect repellent and if they want, money for the camp store.
